Masculinity
If you follow my work, you will notice that I predominately paint women. For this painting I wanted to explore the male figure and silhouette through an oil painting.

the painting was made with oil on linen canvas
The first layers were done in acrylic to determine the shapes and contours. Later a new layer with oil defined the final shape and outlines. The background was filled in with a solid subtle color to elevate the figure.
